WELCOME TO MY CREATIVE PROCESS  

 Hi, my name is Kaden Mount.

Im a filmmaker/photographer located in Portland, Oregon. My approach to film and photography exist in an active respect to the elemental details that yield and ultimately create cinematic presentations. My methodology is to capture the right moment, at the right time, in the right way, under the right settings.

My influences range from filmmakers such as Barry Jenkins, Terrence Malick, and Andrei Tarkovsky. My unique style is mediated through a convergence of an exaggerated use of color and light, asynchronous narration, selective cutting, and an immersive compositional positioning of my actors to the audience. 

 I seek to evolve as an artist through the energetic process of collaboration, and to experience art that can come from a thoughtful execution of the subject matter. That is why I am here. My favorite projects are those that speak up for themselves, both in style and in narrative format. From short live action dramas, to music videos, as well as landscape photography, to follow are the current respective products of my creative work.
